Steel Structure Manufacturing Facility Prefabricated Factory Expansion Construction
Product Introduction
Plastics Manufacturing Plant Expansion in Dallas, NC, we're not afraid of tight schedules.
The client's problem was simple; they had developed a preliminary design, but the steel supplier from whom they planned to purchase the steel was unable to meet their required timeframe. After one call, they were confident that we had the vision and expertise to deliver what they wanted in a tight timeframe.
The end user, a plastics manufacturer, needed a building that could accommodate cranes and other large machinery, and the new building was to be connected to the existing structure.Additional loads had to be considered as oversized pipes would carry cables and water to both major parts of the building. With some creative problem solving and quick thinking, we designed and built a solution that checked all the boxes in one window!
The bespoke building consisted of fairly standard components, including prefabricated steel frames and fittings, with the biggest challenge being its tight deadlines and the added complexity of integrating the pipe racks and crane rails into the client's design in record time.Staying true to our mission, we were able to optimise efficiencies at every critical stage to exceed the client's delivery expectations. In fact, by meeting the January 2023 delivery date (which the client later admitted they never believed was possible), we were ready to deliver before the client was ready!
Installation commences in March 2023.We pride ourselves on the work we do to build structurally sound buildings that exceed our clients' needs and expectations, in this case being ready to deliver before our clients think it's impossible, especially after everyone else says it isn't.As we tell our customers, "If you want to build it, we'll find a way."

Product Features
- Prefabrication Process: The expansion utilizes advanced CAD/CAM technology for precise design and manufacturing of steel components, ensuring accuracy and quality control from start to finish. Components are fabricated according to strict standards and undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet safety and performance criteria.
- Modular Design: The modular nature of prefabricated steel structures allows for flexible and scalable expansion. Additional modules can be added or removed based on changing business needs, providing adaptability without compromising structural integrity.
- Material Selection: Top-grade steel is used for its strength, durability, and resistance to environmental factors such as corrosion and extreme temperatures. The use of high-quality materials ensures long-term reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.
- Environmental Considerations: Sustainable practices are integrated throughout the manufacturing process. Prefabrication reduces waste by optimizing material usage, and the steel's recyclability promotes eco-friendly building solutions. Additionally, energy-efficient technologies can be incorporated into the design to lower operational costs and environmental impact.
- Safety Standards: Compliance with international safety regulations ensures that all expansions meet stringent safety requirements. Features like fire-resistant coatings, seismic reinforcement, and comprehensive safety protocols are implemented to protect workers and assets.
